This morning we had a lot of fun alone with Rettie and Layne while Tanya and Heather worked. We took turns reading books to the boys, and hanging out with them in their well-stocked playroom. They were both a joy to be with.

Then we took a break and drove to the IMAX theater downtown to see Star Wars. It was our first viewing and Will’s second. All three of us enjoyed ourselves. The theater was in the building also housing the Indiana State Museum. There are other museums and cultural institutions in the surrounding area.
Driving around downtown and the nearby neighborhoods a bit convinced us that this is a most livable town. Heather and Tanya’s house and the others in this neighborhood were built at the beginning of the 1900’s. The architectural details make each a delight.
We have had the entire top floor of the house to ourselves. Two bedrooms, a bathroom and a very large open space. It will be difficult to leave here tomorrow, as we have been quite comfortable and because we have had a good visit with Heather and Tanya. Previous to this visit we had only experienced Rettie and Layne through pictures and through the stories told by their grandparents. They did not disappoint. We hope the photographs we took show some of our joy in getting to know them.
