Harry and Ben walked to the Santa Caterina Market in the El Born district for lunch while Marsha went wandering and shoe shopping we met up at the Picasso Museum.
Click Read More below right.. We all slept in this morning and then didn’t actually go out until noon. We're getting into the Barcelona way, where the days seem to start and end later.
Click Read More below right. As long as you are vigilant with securing your valuables the Barcelona Metro is wonderful. The ticket machine instructions are in several languages and easy to understand. The directional signs are well placed and easy to follow, the digital arrival information boards display accurate information, the trains arrive in less than 3 minutes and there is nary a piece of litter to be seen. None of this could be said for New York, London, Paris, Washington, D.C. and certainly not Boston.
Click Read More below right. It was a brisk 1.2 mile slightly uphill walk this morning to Casa Batllo for our 9:30 fast pass entry. The briskness was necessitated by our not leaving enough time for a more leisurely stroll.

We spent most of the day basking in the sun on the upper deck of the Bus Turistic seeing the sights and getting to know the different neighborhoods of the city.
Click Read More below right.. After a very trying week that included both the passing of Marsha's Aunt Sonia and on the very morning of our departure the passing of Marsha’s mother Anne. Sonia died just two days after her 97th Birthday and my mother, who had a long and fulfilling life, at age 101.
