Saturday, Jan 21 and Sunday Jan 22
On Saturday we drove from St. Augustine to our hotel at the Miami Airport.
At about the half way point we stopped at the National Navy Seal Museum at Ft. Pierce. The chronology of the exhibits starts with the present day and go backwards to the original Navy Frogmen of WWII. All of the exhibits are the real objects including the enclosed lifeboat from which Captain Phillips was rescued.
On Sunday we drove up to Sunny Isles to have brunch with Richard and Lillian Gray and Martin and Ellen Pildis who were visiting for a long weekend. Harry noted that it was especially nice to be with friends on what was a difficult weekend for those of us with progressive political leanings. After lunch we drove down to Homestead to drop off our bicycles at the place we will be staying when we return from Cuba. Then it was back to the Hotel to sort through our things and pack.
