​Day 54: Last Day at Marco Island

​Today was last full day at Marco.

We spent the morning organizing and packing up and loading the car.   In the afternoon Harry rode his rental bike back to the bike shop.  I went to the pool for one last swim and one last soak in the sun.

Then it was time for our farewell to Marco dinner at the Old Marco Hotel.   The hotel was built in the 1880’s and although extensively remodeled over the years it still retains some of its old Florida charm including the Audubon prints on the walls.  It was a delicious dinner and after three weeks together with Linda and Dan we were still enjoying each other’s company.   We are very lucky to have them as family and friends.
