When we were in Naples in 2009 the Botanical Gardens were under Construction.   Marsha visited the Gardens with Kathy a few years later but Harry had never been.   So it was high on our "To Do" list.
The gardens represent four countries or regions that all lie between the 26th latitude South and the 26th latitude North.   (For reference Boston is at the 72 latitude North.  When we were in Naples in '09 the Botanical Gardens were under Construction.   Marsha visited the Gardens with Kathy a few years later but Harry had never been so it was high on our "To Do" list.

Naples is at the 26th latitude North so one garden has plants indigenous to Florida.   The others are Brazil, Asia, and the Caribbean.  The culture of each region is showcased in the buildings and statues in each area.    There is also a Children's Garden, Orchid Garden and Water garden.
To accompany all the beautiful plants there was an exhibit of sculptures of birds and animals scattered throughout.
We started with the 1/2 hour introductory tour (it lasted an hour) with a volunteer named Mike.   He was entertaining and informative and the time went very quickly.   After a stop for liquid refreshment we wandered among the various landscapes.
